Freedom Festival

Lake Como invites you and your family and loved ones to celebrate with us once again as we pay tribute to the courageous men and women of the armed forces who dedicated their lives to protect ours. We’ve planned three days of fun filled resort events to celebrate our heroes and sheroes!

There will be an all new USO style show on Friday evening, featuring live music and comedy, presented by Lake Como’s talented performers.

The traditional veteran’s parade, military tribute ceremony, and quilt of valor presentation will take place on Saturday, followed by a community potluck dinner to honor our vets. All are welcome to bring a dish to share and make our vets feel seen and appreciated.

On Sunday, there will be a car show for all to enjoy as well as the drawing of the 50-50 raffle with all proceeds being donated this year to Honor Flight of West Central Florida. The mission of the Honor Flight Network is to celebrate America’s veterans by safely transporting them to Washington DC to visit the memorials built to honor their service and sacrifices -completely free of charge.
